Steven E. Arnold

Steve is a Nationally Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, and Steve has been voted a Connecticut Super Lawyer^®* each year since 2006, and a New England Super Lawyer^®* since 2009, in Business Litigation, and in Aviation since 2013, by his peers. Steve has a law practice focus on complex civil litigation, and with an emphasis on catastrophic civilian, military and foreign aircraft accidents worldwide. Steve also has substantial trial, appellate, ADR, arbitration, mediation and structured settlement experience with cases involving serious personal injury, wrongful death, medical and professional malpractice, product and premises liability, commercial disputes, trusts and estates, divorce, and class actions.

Steve is admitted and practices law in all state and federal courts in Connecticut and Massachusetts, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second and Ninth Circuits, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court. Steve has litigated, tried cases or taken appeals before all Connecticut and Massachusetts federal and state courts, the federal or state courts in New York, Florida, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin, the United States Courts of Appeals for the First, Second and Ninth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.

Steve's professional associations, memberships and affiliations include(d) the Connecticut, Massachusetts, Federal, and International Law Bar Associations, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys , Lawyer Pilots Bar Association, and Helicopter Aviation International. Steve has been recognized as an aviation law symposia speaker, published author and contributor to aviation law digests of the laws of the United States for the American Bar Association, Aviation and Space Law, and the Defense Research Institute.

Steve was born and lives in Boston, MA and sees clients in both the Boston and West Hartford, CT offices. His education includes Williston Academy, Collège Du Sacré-Coeur in Compiègne, France, Bishops Stortford College in Hertford, England, Susquehanna University, and Western New England University School of Law with distinction. Steve speaks conversational French and Spanish. He is a classical and jazz guitar buff, outdoorsman and beekeeper, and he is involved in many community programs and activities.
